The deadline to get the training done is February 28th. Anyone who does not complete it by February 28th, will need to complete the “New Volunteer Training.” There are also two more webinars left so that is still an option.

Hello Barry 4-H Family!
Below you will find a summary of current club news:
Don’t forget our General Club Meeting this Thursday at 6:30pm at Barry Elementary. We will not only be hosting Plumas 4-H Club, but have some important items on our agenda to cover. It was decided at the October meeting that we would enjoy a potluck dinner together following the meeting. If you haven’t yet signed up for what dish your family would like to bring, please do so at Barry4H.com/potluck . It takes literally less than a minute.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Club enrollment fees are due to the County Office soon. Barry 4-H needs to collect all enrollment fees from youth members and adult volunteers.
A membership drive challenge is currently taking place. If you bring a friend who enrolls and pays their dues to the club in November, you will be entered into a drawing to have YOUR enrollment fee paid.
This Saturday (9am-1pm) is Craft Day at the County Office. Crafts are offered at different stations by surrounding 4-H Clubs. The crafts range in price from $0.50 – $5.00. It is a fun day of crafting and making new friends in our neighboring clubs.
Thank you for reviewing the news above.
Stay in the know by visiting Barry4H.com often.
We also put out occasional reminders on social media:

Attention Barry 4-H members! We’re so excited that our membership is growing. Membership fees are due for all members at our upcoming meeting Nov 16th. A couple of our leaders have gotten together and are happy to announce that we are sponsoring a membership challenge!
BRING A FRIEND WHO ENROLLS AT THE NOV MEETING and be entered into a drawing to have YOUR membership fee PAID (or reimbursed) for the 2017-2018 year! Receive an entry for each new member who pays their dues at the Nov meeting. Ten friends = ten chances to win!
Haven’t officially enrolled in 4-H yet yourself? You may get in on the action by enrolling at 4Honline.com before the meeting, pay your dues at the Nov 16th meeting, and have your friend name you as the individual who recruited them into the club. *No self-referrals kiddos- it is a membership drive after all.*
While Nov. 1st was the enrollment cutoff for fair eligibility, we have a full year of fun activities planned. Come visit us and see all that Barry 4-H has to offer for your family!
